On our way home this morning from my parents, as we pulled in the driveway, there was an
American Robin (
Turdus migratorius) sitting in the direct path of our car. As it flitted to the side yard, I asked my wife to hand me our camera as I was about to take a picture of the bird sitting below a bush.
My wife then asked, "Why do you take such ubiquitous pictures?"
"What do you a mean?" I responded, not quite fully understanding.
"Robins are everywhere, why take pictures of them?"
